Your testimony should not end with your breakthrough
1. Her journey to Shiloh was no longer a journey of despair and ridicule – she does not need to tell her story over and over again – 1 Samuel 1:6 – 7 – And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the Lord had shut up her womb.7 And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the Lord, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat. 1 Samuel 2:1 – Then Hannah prayed:“My heart rejoices in the Lord! The Lord has made me strong.[aNow I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me. NLT
2. Her journey to Shiloh turned from praise to thanks giving – Psalm 126: 1-2 – When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. 2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.
3. Portions becomes double – what does double portion mean? It means you were given one cost hats what your status deserve?
4. She was able to join the crowd – 1 Samuel 2: 8 – He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.
How can your testimony continue?
Pay your vows –Numbers 30:2– If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
Share your experience with others – Madman of Gadara did not care about the criticism, tell people what God has done. Your Church is not the only place you can you can give testimony
Don’t be complacent – two ways (Pride) we have arrived – Ephesians 3:20 – Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us
Don’t forget your past – The calamity of the Michaels Woolwich – Saul did and God rejected Him, Lucifer did and He became the devil, teach your history to your children – Psalm 78:4 – We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.
